Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 oz. red food coloring
    3 Tbsp. Nestle Quik chocolate
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix food coloring and chocolate.
    Add Crisco, sugar and eggs. Cream well.
    Add buttermilk and flour.
    Beat.
    Add salt and vanilla.
    Beat well and remove from mixer.
    Add vinegar; beat by hand and then add soda.
    Beat well by hand.
    Bake in three greased 8-inch pans or two greased 9-inch pans for 30 to 35 minutes.
