Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 small container Cool Whip
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) carton frozen strawberries (optional)
Preparation
    Mix together first 3 ingredients.
    Stir well and spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 13 minutes.
    Chill.
    Mix together next 3 ingredients.
    Spread over pretzels.
    Chill.
    Mix together the remaining ingredients.
    Place in refrigerator until bowl cools.
    Pour over mixture in pan.
    Chill and serve.
