Bean Jars And Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. dried pinto beans
1/2 c. dried red kidney beans
1/2 c. dried navy beans
1/2 c. dried split peas
1/2 c. dried lentils
1/2 c. dried black-eyed peas
1/2 c. dried black beans
1/2 c. dried lima beans

Preparation

Carefully place in layers in a clean quart jar.
Place a canning lid on the jar.
Give for gift.
Add the following information for Good Luck Soup for New Year's Day.
The contents of this jar will make 2 pots of soup.
