Hot Cider Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
    1 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
    6 whole cloves
    6 whole allspice
    2 sticks cinnamon
    1 gal. apple cider
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Combine water and spices in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Add apple cider and sugars. Simmer over low heat 10 minutes.
    Makes 5 quarts.
