Pavlova - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg whites (at room temperature)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. superfine sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. cider vinegar
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
strawberries
chocolate sauce
Preparation

Butter and flour baking sheet.
Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
Beat whites and salt until soft peaks form.
Beat in sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition until smooth and glossy.
Stir cornstarch and vinegar together in small bowl until smooth.
Fold into egg whites until blended.
Scoop whites onto center of baking sheet.
Spread smoothly forming a circle approximately 8-inch diameter with a slight well in the center. Put on center rack in oven.
Reduce heat to 250\u00b0 until outside is firm and tan.
Cool on wire rack 15 minutes.
Remove from sheet. Whip cream with a little sugar.
Fill center with berries and cream.
Cover with whipped cream and decorate with strawberries. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
