Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white corn syrup
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Put corn syrup, sugar and water in a heavy pan and cook slowly to 230\u00b0.
    Then add peanuts.
    Stir and cook to 301\u00b0, take off heat and stir in oleo or butter, vanilla and soda.
    Stir well and then put in greased pan.
    (I use cookie sheet pan.)
