Ingredients

5 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. Wesson oil
1 c. orange juice
Preparation

Separate eggs and beat the whites with 1/2 cup sugar.
Sift together the flour, 1 cup sugar, salt and baking powder.
Add the Wesson oil and 1/2 the orange juice to the flour mixture and beat well.
Add the egg yolks and the rest of the orange juice.
Fold in egg whites.
Add a little orange food coloring and coconut if desired.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
