Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oatmeal (quick or real)
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Pour boiling water on oats; let stand 1/2 hour.
    Cream the margarine; add salt and vanilla.
    Add both sugars gradually.
    Add eggs; beat.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with oatmeal to creamed mixture.
    Grease pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
