Banana Walnut Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. mashed banana
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat together sugar, shortening, eggs and banana.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and soda. Stir into creamed mixture. Beat until smooth. Add nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes or until it tests done.
Cool on rack.
