Tenderloin Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole beef tenderloin (2 to 3 lb.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped green onion
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. Dijon mustard
    pepper to taste
    3/4 c. dry sherry
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Spread tenderloin with 2 tablespoons butter.
    Place on rack in shallow, uncovered, pan at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Meanwhile in small pan, cook onion in second 2 tablespoons butter.
    Add soy sauce, mustard and pepper.
    Stir in sherry.
    Heat to boiling, then pour over tenderloin and bake another 20 minutes.
    Pass remaining wine sauce while serving.
    Serves 4 to 6.
