Mom'S Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 egg
    2 c. buttermilk
    3 Tbsp. hot bacon grease
    1 HOT IRON SKILLET
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, flour, salt and soda in large mixing bowl. Add egg and buttermilk.
    Mix until smooth.
    Stir in hot bacon grease.
    Return to hot skillet.
    Bake in pre-heated oven at 425\u00b0 18-20 minutes.
