Irish Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. stew beef
6 large carrots
6 to 8 good sized potatoes
6 large onions
6 turnips
Preparation

Bring meat to a boil in large pan.
When meat is about half cooked, add the carrots (sliced) and the onions and turnips (quartered).
Cook until vegetables are about half done.
Then add the potatoes (cut in quarters).
Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the stew begins to thicken.
