Green Beans Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1 chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. bread crumbs (for topping)
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Steam green beans over lightly salted water until tender.
    Set aside.
    Melt butter in skillet and saute onions until brown. Slowly add flour, water, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
    Let simmer 3 to 4 minutes.
    Stir in beans and sour cream.
    Mix thoroughly. Place the mixture in a buttered casserole and top with Cheddar cheese and bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
