Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. nuts, cut up
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add to the creamed mixture.
    Add flour with baking soda last. After you have the above all well mixed, then form into one or two rolls (like a rolling pin); put in refrigerator overnight and slice the next day.
    Cut as thin or thick as you like.
    I make mine thin.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 to 20 minutes or until it gets light brown around the edges.
