Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fryer chicken (2 1/2 lb.), cut up
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. Wesson oil
2 onions, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Coat chicken with flour mixed with half of salt and pepper. Brown in deep frypan.
Remove chicken.
Cook onions until soft. Add remaining ingredients and chicken.
Cover and simmer 40 minutes or until tender.
Turn chicken occasionally.
Makes 4 servings, 410 calories each.
Makes 6 servings, 275 calories each.
