Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped onions
    2 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine ingredients.
    Chill in refrigerator at least three hours before cooking.
    Do not stir after chilled.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot cooking oil, dipping spoon each time into a glass filled with warm water.
