Yellow Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening or butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
3 large eggs
Preparation

Cream the shortening, sugar and vanilla on medium speed until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add eggs to creamed mixture.
Stir until mixed.
Add 1/3 of the dry ingredients; mix on low speed until blended.
Add half of the milk.
Add the remaining dry ingredients and the other half of the milk.
Continue to mix until blended.
Pour batter into greased and floured pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Bake for 45 minutes or until done at 350\u00b0.
