Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    6 qt. popped popcorn
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Boil butter, sugar, syrup and salt for 5 minutes.
    Remove from burner.
    Add baking soda.
    Stir (mixture will foam up). Add vanilla and pour over popped corn.
    Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
