Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium green peppers
    1 1/2 lb. uncooked lean ground beef
    1 c. long grain rice
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup (undiluted)
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cut tops off peppers; set aside.
    In a bowl, combine the next six ingredients.
    Spoon into peppers.
    Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Combine soup and basil; spoon over peppers. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink.
    Sprinkle with cheese; return to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
    Yield: 6 servings.
