Stuffed Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium squash
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
    1 medium onion
    2 cans tomato paste
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    1 tsp. pepper or to taste
Preparation
    Cut necks off squash and core inside out and save.
    Mix all ingredients except 1 can tomato paste and squash hulls.
    Stuff squash loosely; put neck in top and secure with toothpick.
    Cover with water and add 1 can tomato paste.
    Bring to a boil and simmer 1 hour.
