Ingredients

1/2 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. raisins (optional)
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
Preparation

Combine rice, sugar, eggs, vanilla, nutmeg and raisins.
Stir in scalded milk.
Pour into 1-quart casserole.
Place casserole in 9 x 9-inch baking dish which has 1 inch of hot water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes, until knife comes out clean.
Stir after 30 minutes.
