Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. sifted flour, sifted 3 times
3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or oleo
2 c. sugar
4 eggs (unbeaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavor
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening (you can substitute this for butter or oleo if you like)
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 eggs
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients in mixer bowl.
Blend in shortening or butter.
Add milk, vanilla and eggs.
Bake at about 350\u00b0 in 2 (8-inch) cake pans.
Top with Seven Minute Frosting and coconut.
