"Brown Sugar" Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    about 1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Bring 1 cup brown sugar and water to boil.
    Boil about 1 minute, let stand.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over syrup in a casserole and bake together 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0.
    The syrup is the icing.
