Chocolate Turtle Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 c. prepared caramel sauce
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray a 9 to 10-inch pie pan with vegetable oil.
In bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade, combine flour, sugar and butter.
Pulse until mixture comes together in a ball.
Press into pie pan.
Prick a few times with a fork and place in oven for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle pecans onto partially cooked pie shell and pour caramel sauce over.
Return to oven and bake another 15 to 18 minutes or until crust is browned and filling is bubbling.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
When chips are melted, spread to form a topping. Chill, slice and serve.
Serves 8.
