Pot Roast Onion Cheddar Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef pot roast
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 onions, sliced
    1/2 can cheese soup
    1 can tomato soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation
    Brown roast in oil.
    Pour off drippings.
    Season meat with salt and pepper.
    Add onions, soups, mushrooms, oregano, basil, thyme and parsley flakes.
    Cover tightly and cook slowly 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until tender.
    This is good to cook in an electric skillet. Set the control at 200\u00b0 to 225\u00b0.
