Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. meal
1 can cream-style corn
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1/4 c. bacon drippings
1 lb. hamburger meat
2 hot peppers
Preparation

Brown hamburger meat, onion, pepper and cheese. Grease and sprinkle pan with meal.
Mix remaining ingredients together.
Pour half of batter in pan.
Put on meat mixture.
Pour rest of batter on top.
Bake as any other corn bread at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
