Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 to 2 c. buttermilk (I use sweet milk, plus 1 to 2 tsp. vinegar)
    1/4 c. oil
    1 c. raw miller oat bran
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/4 c. wheat germ
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. dates
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Let oat bran soak in liquid ingredients for 5 minutes.
    In another bowl, combine all dry ingredients, nuts and dates, then mix in liquid lightly.
    Bake in greased (or sprayed with Pam) muffin tins in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
