Cranberry Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 orange
    1 qt. chopped fine cranberries
    1 chopped tart peeled apple
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Peel and section orange, reserving peeling. Cut orange peel and sections into small pieces. Combine fruits.
    Mix spices with sugar. Add to fruits.
    Let stand for at least 24 hours.
    Will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator.
    Yields 1 1/2 pints.
