Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

4 eggs, well beaten
2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Preparation

Combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt; mix well. Pour into pastry shell; bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Serve slightly warm or cold.
