Cranberry Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce or whole cranberry sauce
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.
    Stir in raisins and nuts. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in cranberry sauce. Spoon into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
