Drambuie Pecan Rounds(Makes 4 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. softened butter
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c. flour
    pecan or walnut halves
    2/3 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. Drambuie
    1 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in egg and 3 tablespoons Drambuie.
    Slowly add flour and mix well.
    Shape dough into a 12-inch log.
    Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour or until firm.
    Cut dough into 1/4-inch thick slices.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool on wire rack.
