Punch For Big Affairs(Usa) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. strong black tea
    2 1/2 c. orange juice
    12 oz. maraschino cherries
    3 gal. water
    ice cubes
    2 c. water
    2 c. lemon juice
    5 c. pineapple juice
    2 qt. dry ginger ale
Preparation
    Make a syrup by boiling sugar and 2 cups water for 10 minutes. Add tea and juices.
    Chill 2 or 3 hours.
    Strain if desired.
    Add cherries with juice, 3 gallons water and ginger ale.
    Pour over ice cubes in punch bowl.
    Serve.
    Yields 75 servings.
