Texas Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter or margarine
3 c. sugar
7 eggs, separated
5 c. enriched all-purpose flour
1 qt. pecan pieces
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 4 Tbsp. warm water
1 (2 oz.) bottle pure lemon extract
1 lb. box raisins
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Beat egg yolks well and add to butter and sugar mixture.
Add a little flour, the soda dissolved in water and lemon extract.
Add a little more flour.
