Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
salt and pepper to taste
a little soda
2 tsp. onions
2 eggs
buttermilk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Let rise, knock down and let rise again.
Fry in deep fat fryer until brown.
