Good Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1 egg
Preparation
    Combine flour, soda, spices and salt. Beat shortening for 30 seconds. Add sugar; beat until fluffy. Add molasses and egg. Beat until combined. Add dry ingredients and beat on low speed until well combined. Shape into balls; dip into a small bowl of water, then a bowl of sugar. Put sugar-coated balls 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350\u00b0 in oven for 15 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Enjoy.
