German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 boiled, sliced potatoes
    1 pkg. bacon (crisp)
    bacon grease (left from bacon)
    2 large onions, diced
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar or more to taste
    2 c. water
    celery seed to taste
    6 hard-boiled eggs, diced
Preparation
    After boiling potatoes, clean and slice into large bowl.
    Cook bacon until crisp; take bacon out of skillet.
    Use the remaining bacon grease; add diced onions, vinegar, sugar and water; let simmer, stirring, until onions are done.
    Add flour by making a white paste to mixture and stir until thick but runny.
    Pour mixture over potatoes.
    Add eggs and celery seed to taste.
    Cut up crisp bacon and mix.
