*Curabie 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet butter (room temperature)
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    almonds, browned in a little butter and chopped fine
Preparation
    Beat butter 10 minutes.
    Add orange juice, vanilla, egg yolk, whiskey and sugar.
    Continue beating.
    Add flour and baking powder on low speed and mix until the dough doesn't stick to your hands. Add almonds.
    Pat piece of dough to desired thickness and cut with cookie cutter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Bake until golden on bottom.
    Do not brown top.
    When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
    Makes 45 to 50 cookies.
