Orange Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar, sifted
6 eggs, separated
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour, sifted
grated rind of 1 orange
3/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. orange juice
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add egg yolks, one at a time.
Add orange rind.
Add baking soda to flour and sift together.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream and orange juice to creamed mixture.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
Pour batter in a large pan that has been floured.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, or until done.
Let stand 15 minutes before removing.
