Rhubarb Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. lard
    1 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Mix together and pour over rhubarb. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to an hour. (I use 6 to 7 cups diced rhubarb in a 7 1/4 x 11 baking dish with 1 1/2 cups sugar on top.) Tends to run over the side of dish.
