Sour Milk Chocolate Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
3/4 c. sour milk
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Sift together and stir in remaining dry ingredients.
Add milk.
Stir in nuts if desired.
Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
