Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 oz.) can whole green chiles
    1 lb. (about 3 c.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/2 lb. (about 2 c.) Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    4 eggs
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    generous dash of hot pepper sauce
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
Preparation
    Split chiles
    and
    cover
    the
    bottom of a baking dish. Spread chiles
    with
    the grated cheeses.
    Stir eggs into milk. Season to taste
    with salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce; pour over cheese. At\tthis
    point,
    mixture
    may
    be\trefrigerated overnight.
    When ready
    to bake, top with green onions.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for
    35
    to 40 minutes or until casserole bubbles and puffs up.
