Christmas Feast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 to 8 lb. standing rib roast with Oven Roasted Potatoes (makes 8 servings)
salt and pepper for desired taste
Preparation

Heat the oven to 425\u00b0. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper. Put in a roasting pan, fat side up. Put in the oven. Reduce the oven temperature to 350\u00b0. Roast until the meat is done, 2 hours for rare, 2 1/2 hours for medium rare. Tent the roast with foil and let stand 10 minutes before carving.
