Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cooked pie shells
    4 pt. fresh strawberries
    1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Wash strawberries; pick and drain.
    Place in pie shells. Combine sugar, jello, cornstarch and water; cook over medium heat until thickened (won't be real thick).
    Add margarine.
    Spoon mixture over strawberries.
    Chill.
    Garnish with whipped cream or Cool Whip, if you prefer.
    Makes 2 pies.
