German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
1/2 c. boiling water
2 sticks margarine
4 egg yolks (unbeaten)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk with 2 Tbsp. vinegar, set until sour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
4 egg whites, beaten
Preparation

Boil water; add chocolate and cool.
Beat egg whites until fluffy.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Add melted chocolate and vanilla.
Mix well.
Sift salt, soda and flour together.
Add alternately with milk and vinegar mixture to chocolate mixture.
Beat until smooth.
Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour in 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
When cool, cut layers in half.
Frost each layer and sides with Coconut Pecan Frosting.
