Ingredients

2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
12 oz. cream cheese
1 c. Cool Whip
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 small boxes instant butterscotch pudding
3 c. milk
chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Melt butter; stir in flour.
Spread in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy.
After crust is cool, drop mixture onto crust by spoonfuls, then spread.
Combine pudding and milk.
Beat until thick.
Spread over cream cheese layer.
Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
Refrigerate.
