Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, diced
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 large tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon in skillet until crisp; remove bacon and drain. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.
    Add onion and green pepper to drippings in skillet; cook and stir until onions are tender.
    Stir in bacon and remaining ingredients.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes; do not cover.
    You can also use sausage or frankfurters in place of bacon.
