Washington Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    4 c. thinly sliced apples
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven
    to
    350\u00b0.
    With\tmixer,\tbeat eggs until light. Combine
    sugar and oil.
    Pour into eggs.
    Mix on medium speed. Sift
    flour,
    baking
    soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Add to egg mixture with vanilla and mix. Stir in nuts.
    Spread apples in buttered
    13 x\t9
    x 2-inch pan.
    Pour batter over apples, spreading to cover.
    Bake 1 hour. Cool. Ice with Cream Cheese Frosting.
