Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. butter
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. hot milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs until light.
Gradually add sugar.
Blend thoroughly.
Fold in sifted dry ingredients.
Heat milk and butter.
Fold in the hot milk, butter and flavoring.
Bake in greased and floured 9-inch layer cake pans in a 400\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Also bakes well in a tube pan.
