Chili Sauce(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. peeled, cored, chopped ripe tomatoes (about 24 large)
    1 1/2 c. chopped sweet green peppers (about 3 medium)
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 to 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    1 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bring to boil, simmer until as thick as wanted (about 1 to 2 hours).
    Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
