Aunt Carole'S Meringue Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon pudding and pie filling
    4 egg yolks
    4 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    16 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add cream of tartar.
    Gradually add 1 cup sugar.
    Spread meringue in pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
